Welcome to your credit union!

Federated Employees Credit Union is a non-profit financial organization owned by its members – people like you! Credit unions, unlike other financial institutions, have no stockholders or paid board of directors so our earnings are returned to each member in the form of higher dividends on savings, lower rates on loans, fewer transaction fees, and many free services!

Membership eligibility:

Membership is available to all Federated Insurance Companies employees and retirees, their spouses, children, grandchildren, parents, and siblings.

Important Information about procedures for opening a new account:

This membership application is only available to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Request a membership application form for eligible individuals under the age of 18 by calling 507-455-5430 or emailing fedecu@fedins.com. Joint ownership with an adult is required until they turn 18 years old.

Once your membership application is complete, you can open one or multiple additional checking, savings, and certificate accounts by contacting us.

If you would like to add a joint owner or designate a beneficiary on your accounts, please contact us once your membership application is complete.

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask you for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We will ask you to provide a copy of your driver's license or other identifying documents.

Enroll in Online Banking once your membership application is complete to:
